How hard is it to sell solar?

Solar is different than most products. Here is what I mean...everybody has an electric bill. Solar offers to replace a homeowners electric bill with a lower solar payment. What this means is, the homeowner will save money every month and every year.

Solar is also a product a customer can buy with zero down. We have finance companies that are perfectly comfortable financing the whole solar project so the customer can get the benefit of zero down and then start saving money on their power bill day one.

How do I get started?

There is no cost to start! You only need a great work ethic and a strong desire to succeed. Mike will teach you everything you need to know to start setting appointments immediately.

Do people buy solar in the winter?

Yes, they do. Our installers work throughout the year, if the roof has snow, we'll push it off and install.

Fall and winter are great times to set appointments because so few people are knocking on doors (the summer sales crew are hibernating).

How much time do I need to work?

Solar appointment setters don't have set hours. As an independent contractor, you'll choose when and how you work. You may want to network throughout the day to set up appointments, then spend time in the evenings or on Saturday to visit homes. You have the flexibility to work what ever works best for you!

Am I paid on commission?
